The story of ABEA Home does not begin in a boardroom, but out in the harsh Norwegian weather. We have experienced the Norwegian climate firsthand and know exactly what it takes to build something that stands firm through all seasons. For decades, we have built, learned and mastered the craft.

The company ABEA Home as it exists today was established in 2019 by three families with a common vision. The goal was to bring together our broad and interdisciplinary expertise in construction, real estate, industrial production, accounting and marketing. Today, our houses and holiday homes are produced safely under roof in our own element factory in Øvre Eiker. Here, we have full focus on sustainable solutions and efficient operations.

ABEA HOME is a family-owned company with more than 40 years of combined experience. We combine traditional Norwegian master craftsmanship with engineering to provide you with houses and holiday homes that create value for generations.

Since 2021, the construction industry in Norway has navigated through perhaps its most challenging period in over 25 years. While the industry in general has had a tough time, ABEA Home has experienced its strongest sales period ever, with solid finances, good growth and strong order reserves. How is that possible?

The answer lies in how we run the company. Through good management, a very low debt-to-equity ratio and deliberately low fixed costs, we have built a robust business. We do most of it in-house – from production drawings and architecture, to element production and marketing. By bringing the threads together, we eliminate costly intermediaries and unnecessary overhead.

Our most important strength lies in our broad expertise. ABEA Home currently has 25 dedicated employees divided between administration and production, and we have a scalable capacity of 30 to 60 units per year.
